COMMA EXTENDS X-FLOW RANGE

Oils and chemicals specialist, Comma, has increased its X-Flow range, as the demand for model- and vehicle-specific oils continues to rise, to encompass 44 product numbers.

The new additions mean Comma's X-Flow range now comprises 11 formulations, of which seven are fully-synthetic, two are semi-synthetic, with a further two mineral oils.

Comma spokesman, Mike Bewsey, underlined the growing importance of the model-specific oils in Comma's product strategy, saying: "The need for our distributors and technicians to provide their respective customers with exactly the right oil for any application continues to drive our range selection in the value sector of the market."

Bewsey added: "Vehicle manufacturers are very clear about the requirements they make for engine lubricants – it's they who set the specifications. Comma works hard to ensure availability for our distributors of the appropriate oils in the right pack sizes for their relevant markets."

In addition to the extension of the X-Flow range, two X-Flow products are now available in 199-litre barrels. They are the fully-synthetic 5W-30 ACEA A1/B1 Comma X-Flow Type F Plus and the Comma X-Flow Type V fully-synthetic 5W-30.

The new introductions include Comma X-FLOW Type P, a Low-SAPS fully synthetic 5W-30 ACEA C2 grade recommended for Peugeot/Citroen PSA B71 2290 applications, and Comma X-FLOW Type Z, a Low-SAPS fully synthetic 5W-30 ACEA C3 grade recommended for Mercedes Benz MB 229.31/229.51 and BMW LL-04 applications. Comma X-FLOW Type XS is a semi-synthetic 10W-40 ACEA A3/B3 grade.
