Comma extends Xstream® range11/09/2013 July 2013: Comma, the oil and chemicals specialist, is to extend its acclaimed Xstream® Antifreeze and Coolants product range. The Xstream®, with BASF Glysantin® Antifreeze and Coolants range already boasts more manufacturer approvals than any other in the aftermarket, while the Xstream® G40 is the only manufacturer-approved antifreeze/coolant for all VAG models produced after 2005. From mid-July, Xstream® G40® and Xstream® G48® 5-litre packs will be available in ready-mixed formulations, making it easier and more convenient for technicians to use in service scenarios, without being concerned about dilution ratios. In addition to this, all three Xstream® Concentrate products – G30®, G40® and G48® will be available to order in new 2-litre packs, in addition to the existing pack sizes, providing workshops with convenient price points for coolant servicing top-up requirements in particular. Comma spokesman, Mike Bewsey, reiterated Comma's commitment to helping technicians in their daily work, saying: "This range of Xstream® products provides advanced protection from corrosion, overheating and frost and the new additions to the range are part of our drive to make the lives of technicians easier. The ready-mix formulations simply remove the concern about dilution ratios, while the new pack sizes are ideal for top-ups, really helping them in their day-to-day service operations."
