Comma launches new hydraulic fluid for PSA group vehicles

Comma has launched a new hydraulic fluid – LDS Fluid – which is suitable for a car parc of 1.3 million vehicles in the UK.

Primarily developed to cater for PSA group vehicle systems, specifically the Citroen C5 Hydractive 3+ hydraulic suspension, LDS Fluid is also suitable for other PSA vehicles (Peugeot, Citroen and DS) as well as certain SsangYong and Toyota models that use PSA group components.

The fully synthetic fluid meets the growing need for workshops to use manufacturer-specific products and is recommended for any application requiring PSA S712 710 specification and also meets ISO 7308.

As well as being tailored for the self-levelling suspension found in the Citroen C5, LDS Fluid is also suitable for other applications, including use in power steering and traction control systems, hydraulically operated clutches, electrohydraulic systems on convertibles and some central locking mechanisms.

LDS Fluid is available in one-litre packs now and complements Comma's range of other hydraulic fluid products – Comma LHM+ and Comma MVCHF.
